Set on Bophut Beach, the east coast of Koh Samui. Lawana Resort is only 5 kms from Samui International Airport and 20 kms from the sea transfer ferry pier.
Samui has an international airport operated by Bangkok Airways and there are many daily flights from Suvannaphum Airport and most regularly from Bangkok. Direct flights are also available from regional destinations such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Penang and Guangzou. We can arrange an airport transfer at extra fee, just send us your flight details and our representative will be waiting for you with a sign.
To get to Samui by car, you will need to take the vehicle ferry from Dok Sak to Nathorn pier in Koh Samui. The ferry journey takes 1:30 to 1:45 hours and another 30-40 minutes of drive from Nathorn pier to Lawana Resort.

Drive along the main road around the island, heading to the northeast, the way to Bophut Beach, pass Bang Por , Ban Tai and Mae Nam beach. Bophut beach is next to Mae Nam beach. Lawana Resort is on your left hand, on the main road
There are several daily air-conditioned buses departing from Bangkok’s southern Bus Terminal to Koh Samui. Fare including ferry ticket is around 1,000 Baht. It takes about 11-12 hours to Don Sak pier and another 1:30 to Nathon pier in Koh Samui. We can arrange transfer from Nathorn pier to the hotel at extra fee or you can take taxi vans easily available from the pier to Lawana Resort.
The overnight train from Bangkok to Surat Thani is fun and much more enjoyable than the bus. Both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned class are available. The Trip takes about 11-12 hours to Surathani station. The train/bus/ferry combination tickets to Koh Samui are also available at train station.
